A book published in 2014 says Bobby Kennedy (RFK) had Marilyn Monroe murdered on August 4, 1962 to prevent her from revealing her sex affairs with himself and his brother JFK, the president of the United States.
The Kennedy brothers were “passing her around like a football,” revealed brother-in-law, actor Peter Lawford, years after she died.
According to investigative journalists Jay Margolis and Richard Buskin, the case is solved. The story is summarized in this article from the Daily Mail.
Marilyn knew too much about the Kennedy’s and threatened to reveal everything. Bobby Kennedy did not act alone, the authors claim. Complicit in the murder was Lawford and Marilyn’s shrink, who gave her the fatal dose of pentobarbitol.
Before that, she was given an enema filled with broken-down Nembutals and seventeen chloral hydrates. When ambulance drivers found her in her Brentwood guest house, “She was naked. She had no sheet, no blanket. There was no water glass. No alcohol…”

What is sure is that in 1972 (10 years after her death) while some work was being done on the walls, her house has been found to be very seriously wiretapped .
Are the people behind the wiretap also behind the murder? Maybe not. It could have been the Kennedy’s – exactly like in the theory above – but with a different mobile than their love affairs. Maybe Kennedy’s White House suspected her of leaking stuff… of being a spy for someone. They would have noticed information leaking from her. So they thought (a) maybe she is a spy herself, or (b) maybe she is being used by the spies who wiretap her house.
According to author David McGowan, Marilyn worked for the government in a covert studio (Lookout Mountain Laboratory) in Laurel Canyon near LA. “Hollywood luminaries like John Ford, Jimmy Stewart, Howard Hawks, Ronald Reagan, Bing Crosby, Walt Disney and Marilyn Monroe were given clearance to work at the facility on undisclosed projects.”
“Lookout Mountain Laboratory was originally envisioned as an air defense center. Built in 1941 and nestled in two-and-a-half secluded acres off what is now Wonderland Park Avenue, the installation was hidden from view and surrounded by an electrified fence. By 1947, the facility featured a fully operational movie studio. In fact, it is claimed that it was perhaps the world’s only completely self-contained movie studio. With 100,000 square feet of floor space, the covert studio included sound stages, screening rooms, film processing labs, editing facilities, an animation department, and seventeen climate-controlled film vaults. It also had underground parking, a helicopter pad and a bomb shelter.”
Who would want to tape her house? and why? and did she know about it? Very hard to answer this question. Was it for her proximity with the Kennedy’s? Was it (1) the CIA? Hoover’s FBI? We know both contributed to JFK’s murder… at least to the subsequent cover up (2) Was it the Meyer Lansky’s mafia? The mafia entertained very close – sweet and sour – ties with the CIA and FBI at the time… and this mafia group ended up shooting JFK… (4) Russia? (5) Israel? The Israeli intelligence is very much implicated in the murder of JFK (see Michael Collins Piper’s book, Final Judgment)

Bob and her had broken up already before her death… so it is not very likely that the motive was her wanting to reveal her relationship with the Kennedy’s. To hurt them? It does not make sense because it would have hurt her own reputation as well. Was she very crazy and very unstable in general?
Another theory about the perpetrators of the murder involves the mafia. (The motive would have been to put the murder on Bob Kennedy to end his carrier because Bob was going against certain aspects of organized crime. She was found dead after he left her house.)
